Gear
Blade-Tech
Pretty much the industry leader in Kydex.  They have the ability to make you holsters, mag pouches, etc, for pretty
much any pistol.  Delivery is not fast, but they have good customer service and the WIDEST selection.   So if you
need a Kydex, left hand, for a 3 inch N-frame... you go to Blade-teck.   Their Tek-Lok mag carriers are great, but
avoid Tek-Lok on holsters.
Comp-Tac
CompTac are pretty much my favorite holsters.  Fast excellent service, but their line is not as big as some others.
Favorite products are the Belt scabbard (not paddle), their CTAC IWB, and their OC holder (go ahead buy the
spray at the same time)
Haugen Handgun Leather
If you have to have leather, this is a great maker that does not get enough press.
Milt Sparks Holsters
Milt Sparks Holsters is a great maker of leather rigs, and they pretty much designed many of the holsters that
everyone now copies.  Expect to wait for your holster, they are not fast, but they are good.
Tactical Tailor
Everything load-bearing and TACTICAL!.  Good stuff
Don Hume Leathergoods
This is a direct link to their pocket holster for  J-frame S&W's,  this is the one holster that gets used by me 365
days a year.  Affordable and a good simple design.
Elitefirearms.net
Diamond Dave is the man to see for everything AK.  Also makes great Galil rifles.  If you can think of an AK mod,
he probably already has done it.  He can add good sights, optic mounts etc.  Also usually has a good selection of
AK's in stock.
Guns
P&T Partners
If the 1911 is the only thing that works for you, Terry Peters is a good guy to know.  Deals in high-end 1911's,
Wilsons, Ed Brown, Heinie, Matt Davis, Yost etc.  Terry knows more about the custom pistol world than anyone I
know and can steer you to a good decision. Usually has several pieces in stock, both new and used.
Training
A word about training. I suppose that I shouldn't promote other instructors, should I?  After all, I'm the best, and
have all the answers, dont I?  Well, I don't.  I was not born with the modest teaching and shooting skills I have, I
had to learn them, just like you. So, here you will find a short list of best people I have trained with, not just once,
but several times. There are many good instructors out there, and it behooves you to search them out.
Combat Shooting and Tactics
Paul Howe needs no introduction nor endorsement from me, but having trained with him a couple of times,I can
say you owe it to yourself to check out his company.  Not just great training, but also good articles and Info.  In a
world of chest-thumpers and posers, Paul is the real deal, my kind of instructor
Range Master
Tom Givens is a great instructor and has a good facility and range in the Memphis area.  Also teaches on the
road, and he may be teaching near you.  I think I have taken 5 or 6 classes from him.  When I need a "tune-up"
with my skills, then I train with Tom.
Defense Training International
John Farnam is a legend in the business, and has been at this longer than many of us have been alive.  A
gentleman, scholar and shooter!  Teaches all over the country, so check out his class schedule.
Bluff Dale Firearms Academy
Steve Moses is a buddy, partner, student, teacher, author and all-around great guy to have around when things
need to get done.  Steve and I teach with and for each other and I cant give a better recommendation than that.
Tiger Valley
T J Pilling is a one of the best out there, and really should be better known in the Firearms training world.  The
Team I'm on trains with T.J. several times a year; pistol, high risk entry, designated marksman, he does it all well.
Tiger Valley also boasts a 1000 yard range which is a valuable and rare asset.
Survival Driving
Driving Training is often overlooked by most of us, after all we drive everyday right? Wrong! Learning how to
handle a car with skill, speed and dexterity is essential.  You will drive yourself out of more jams than you will
shoot your way through.  To that end, Randy Robinson's school is a great place to learn that skill set.  Take a
look.
