Hany Mahmoud holds a Masters degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of
Texas at Arlington, a Master Peace Officers license, and is currently a full-time Peace Officer in the
DFW area. In addition to graduating from both TCLEOSE and FBI firearms instructor schools, Hany has
attended and successfully completed dozens of firearms and tactics oriented classes from some of the
best instructors in the country. Some of these schools include Thunder Ranch, Paul Howe’s Combat
Shooting and Tactics, Insights training Center, ALERRT Active Shooter Instructor School, Jeff
Gonzales’ Trident Concepts, John Farnam’s DTI, Louis Awerbucks Yavapai Firearms Academy,Tom
Givens RANGEMASTER and other pistol, shotgun, rifle, TASER and defensive tactics courses. In
addition to his regular duties Hany is also his department’s firearms instructor, armorer and serves on a
high risk entry and escort team. When not instructing for his department or in the private sector, Hany
frequently teaches firearms to cadets at the police academy.

Steve Moses is a long-time firearms and edged
weapons instructor. Steve is also a SWAT certified
Instructor for many years and his expertise
encompasses all aspects of personal defense,
from Hand-to Hand, edged weapons, Team tactics,
firearms and executive protection. Steve has been
to more classes than we can list, and is one of the
most talented and articulate instructors that can be
found. Steve is a published author with numerous
articles to his credit in publications such as SWAT
as well as texts by Paladin Press. Steve is a Team
Leader on our entry team and is the veteran of
numerous arrests and high risk entries. Steve
Moses has been an urban rifle instructor long
before it became fashionable, he is also active in
the Executive Protection field as both an instructor
and operator.

Chris Frantz is a Texas Peace Officer with many
years of patrol experience. Chris is also a graduate
of the FBI Firearms Instructor school, Paul Howe’s
Rifle Instructor school, TASER International Instructor
and is also SWAT certified. Chris is a gifted shooter
who has been shooting and competing since
childhood. Chris is also an assistant firearms
instructor, particularly skilled in the patrol rifle format,
as well as having taught at the police academy.
